"Heels together, Toes apart.. Stomach in.. Shoulders broad." Most of us have heard these lines and been made to follow them at our Physical Training (P.T.) sessions back in our school times. Now that I reminisce those instructions and provide the same guidelines for the fitness enthusiasts at Bollyrobics class, I realise how blessed I was to learn the importance of a right posture from a young age.
Be an echo but have your own voice.. this simple rule of 'lead and follow', is what we follow in Bollyrobics.
Fitness, when treated with variation, turns into a fun regime. Bollyrobics believes so and follows unique patterns to ensure dance is treating all of the body parts. (And not just the lower body as assumed by many when it comes to Bollywood dance)
Emotions and Moods, they are the Soul of steps that we call dance.. movement without expression is like music with no sound.
Festivities bring along with them a reason to celebrate.. celebrations entail happiness.. and dance is honed as a medium to bring that gleeful curve on your face (say gleeee) :)
Rhythm.. one of the most important component in music.. the heart beat of dance💓.. the key factor is consistency and a metered pattern.
